| CONCEPT | TENGER There is never a present. All there is has already turned to history or merely holds a promise for the future. What we propose is more than a repetition of cultural iconography and symbolism. It is an approach that heralds a new and possible future while remaining, at its core, radically conservative and sustainable. The grasslands of Inner Mongolia are living legacy landscapes, representing the co-evolution of humans and nature not only over thousands, but millions of years. To understand the culture and development of the region, we have to look beyond the last few centuries and consider 65 million years of transformation. Nomadic culture emerged from this landscape and climate. Instead of adapting the land to their needs, people adapted their lives to changing situations, seasons and climate. They moved when the grass was consumed, to summer meadows in summer and winter quarters in winter. By necessity, this way of life was sustainable; it shaped culture and belief. At the core of Mongolian culture are the grassland and Tenger — the sky, heaven. The design does not add symbols and ornament to make a conventional building appear Mongolian. It evolves the forces that shaped the culture into the future. Landscape and tower connect grassland and sky: a new, perhaps radical development rooted in the ancient relationship between land, life and Tenger. The tower becomes a monument not to a fixed image of the past, but to that continuing relationship and its promise for the future. ᠥᠨᠥᠳᠥᠷ ᠬᠡᠮᠡᠬᠦ ᠴᠠᠭ ᠬᠤᠭᠡᠴᠠᠭᠡ ᠬᠡᠵᠡᠭᠡ ᠴᠦ ᠥᠭᠡᠢ᠃ ᠪᠠᠢᠭᠡ ᠪᠦᠬᠦᠨ ᠠᠯᠢ ᠬᠡᠳᠦᠢᠨ ᠲᠦᠦᠬᠡ ᠪᠣᠯᠤᠨ ᠬᠤᠪᠢᠷᠠᠭᠰᠠᠨ ᠡᠰᠡᠪᠡᠯ ᠵᠥᠪᠬᠥᠨ ᠢᠷᠡᠡᠳᠦᠢ ᠢᠨ ᠠᠮᠯᠠᠯᠲᠠ ᠶ᠋ᠢ ᠠᠭᠤᠯᠵᠤ ᠪᠠᠢᠳᠠᠭ᠃ ᠪᠢᠳᠡᠨ ᠦ᠋ ᠰᠠᠨᠠᠯ ᠪᠣᠯᠭᠠᠵᠤ ᠪᠤᠢ ᠵᠦᠢᠯ ᠪᠣᠯ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠪᠡᠯᠭᠡᠳᠡᠯ ᠪᠠ ᠳᠦᠷᠰᠦᠯᠡᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠵᠦᠭᠡᠷ ᠨᠢᠭᠡ ᠳᠠᠪᠲᠠᠬᠤ ᠶᠠᠪᠤᠳᠠᠯ ᠪᠢᠰ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠡᠨᠡ ᠪᠣᠯ ᠴᠣᠣ ᠰᠢᠨᠡ ᠪᠥᠭᠡᠳ ᠪᠣᠯᠣᠮᠵᠢᠲᠤ ᠢᠷᠡᠡᠳᠦᠢ ᠶ᠋ᠢ ᠲᠤᠩᠬᠠᠭᠯᠠᠬᠤ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠵᠡᠷᠭᠡᠴᠡᠭᠡ᠂ ᠮᠥᠨ ᠴᠢᠨᠠᠷ ᠲᠤ ᠪᠠᠨ ᠤᠯᠠᠮᠵᠢᠯᠠᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠡᠷᠰ ᠬᠠᠳᠠᠭᠠᠯᠠᠭᠰᠠᠨ᠂ ᠲᠣᠭᠲᠠᠪᠤᠷᠢᠲᠤ ᠬᠠᠨᠳᠤᠯᠭᠠ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠥᠪᠥᠷ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠡᠡᠷ ᠲᠠᠯ ᠪᠣᠯ ᠬᠦᠮᠦᠨ ᠪᠠ ᠪᠠᠢᠭᠠᠯᠢ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠬᠠᠮᠲᠤ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠬᠤᠪᠢᠰᠠᠯ ᠪᠥᠭᠡᠳ ᠵᠥᠪᠬᠥᠨ ᠬᠡᠳᠦᠨ ᠮᠢᠩᠭᠠᠨ ᠵᠢᠯ ᠪᠤᠰ᠂ ᠰᠠᠶᠡ ᠰᠠᠶᠡ ᠵᠢᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠲᠦᠦᠬᠡ ᠶ᠋ᠢ ᠢᠯᠡᠷᠬᠡᠢᠯᠡᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠠᠮᠢᠳᠤ ᠥᠪ ᠤᠯᠠᠮᠵᠢᠯᠠᠯᠲᠤ ᠯᠠᠨᠳ᠋ᠱᠠᠹᠲ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠡᠨᠡ ᠪᠦᠰᠡ ᠨᠤᠲᠤᠭ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ᠂ ᠬᠥᠭᠵᠢᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠣᠢᠯᠭᠠᠬᠤ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠲᠤᠯᠠᠳᠠ ᠪᠢᠳᠡ ᠵᠥᠪᠬᠥᠨ ᠰᠦᠦᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠡᠳᠦᠨ ᠵᠠᠭᠤᠨ ᠵᠢᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠪᠤᠰ᠂ 65 ᠰᠠᠶᠡ ᠵᠢᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠤᠪᠢᠷᠠᠨ ᠥᠥᠷᠡᠴᠢᠯᠡᠭᠳᠡᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠬᠠᠷᠠᠬᠤ ᠶᠣᠰᠣᠲᠠᠢ᠃ ᠨᠦᠦᠳᠡᠯᠴᠢᠨ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ ᠨᠢ ᠡᠨᠡᠬᠦ ᠯᠠᠨᠳ᠋ᠱᠠᠹᠲ᠂ ᠤᠤᠷ ᠠᠮᠢᠰᠬᠠᠯ ᠠᠴᠠ ᠦᠦᠰᠦᠭᠰᠡᠨ᠃ ᠬᠦᠮᠦᠰ ᠭᠠᠵᠠᠷ ᠢ᠋ ᠥᠪᠡᠷᠰᠡᠳ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠡᠷᠡᠭᠴᠡᠭᠡ ᠳᠦ ᠨᠡᠢᠴᠡᠭᠦᠯᠦᠨ ᠥᠥᠷᠡᠴᠢᠯᠡᠬᠦ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠣᠷᠣᠨ ᠳᠤ᠂ ᠠᠮᠢᠳᠤᠷᠠᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠪᠠᠨ ᠥᠥᠷᠡᠴᠢᠯᠡᠭᠳᠡᠵᠦ ᠪᠤᠢ ᠨᠥᠬᠴᠡᠯ ᠪᠠᠢᠳᠠᠯ᠂ ᠤᠯᠢᠷᠠᠯ᠂ ᠤᠤᠷ ᠠᠮᠢᠰᠬᠠᠯ ᠳᠤ ᠵᠣᠬᠢᠴᠠᠭᠤᠯᠵᠤ ᠢᠷᠡᠭᠰᠡᠨ᠃ ᠥᠪᠰᠦ ᠤᠷᠭᠤᠮᠠᠯ ᠳᠠᠭᠤᠰᠬᠤ ᠳᠤ ᠲᠡᠳᠡ ᠨᠦᠦᠵᠦ᠂ ᠵᠤᠨ ᠨᠢ ᠵᠤᠰᠯᠠᠩ ᠷᠤᠤ᠂ ᠥᠪᠡᠯ ᠨᠢ ᠥᠪᠡᠯᠵᠢᠶᠡ ᠷᠤᠤ ᠰᠢᠯᠵᠢᠳᠡᠭ ᠪᠠᠢᠪᠠ᠃ ᠵᠠᠢᠯᠠᠰᠢᠭᠦᠢ ᠨᠥᠬᠴᠡᠯ ᠪᠠᠢᠳᠠᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠤᠯᠮᠠᠰ ᠠᠴᠠ ᠡᠨᠡ ᠠᠮᠢᠳᠤᠷᠠᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠡᠪ ᠮᠠᠶᠠᠭ ᠨᠢ ᠲᠣᠭᠲᠠᠪᠤᠷᠢᠲᠤ ᠪᠠᠢᠭᠰᠠᠨ ᠪᠥᠭᠡᠳ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ᠂ ᠢᠲᠡᠭᠡᠯ ᠦᠨᠡᠮᠰᠢᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠬᠡᠯᠪᠡᠷᠵᠢᠭᠦᠯᠦᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ ᠦ᠋ᠨ ᠴᠥᠮ ᠨᠢ ᠬᠡᠡᠷ ᠲᠠᠯ ᠪᠠ ᠲᠡᠩᠭᠡᠷ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠡᠨᠡᠬᠦ ᠵᠠᠭᠡᠪᠤᠷ ᠨᠢ ᠡᠷᠭᠢᠯᠲᠡ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠨᠢᠭᠡᠨ ᠪᠠᠷᠢᠯᠭᠡ ᠶ᠋ᠢ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠬᠠᠭᠳᠠᠭᠤᠯᠬᠤ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠲᠤᠯᠠᠳᠠ ᠡᠯᠳᠡᠪ ᠪᠡᠯᠭᠡᠳᠡᠯ᠂ ᠴᠢᠮᠡᠭᠯᠡᠯ ᠨᠡᠮᠡᠳᠡᠭᠭᠦᠢ᠃ ᠡᠨᠡ ᠪᠣᠯ ᠰᠣᠶᠣᠯ ᠢ᠋ ᠬᠡᠯᠪᠡᠷᠵᠢᠭᠦᠯᠦᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠬᠦᠴᠦ ᠶ᠋ᠢ ᠢᠷᠡᠡᠳᠦᠢ ᠷᠤᠤ ᠬᠥᠭᠵᠢᠦᠯᠵᠦ ᠪᠤᠢ ᠬᠡᠷᠡᠭ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠯᠠᠨᠳ᠋ᠱᠠᠹᠲ ᠪᠣᠯᠤᠨ ᠴᠠᠮᠬᠠᠭ ᠨᠢ ᠬᠡᠡᠷ ᠲᠠᠯ ᠪᠠ ᠲᠡᠩᠭᠡᠷ ᠢ᠋ ᠬᠣᠯᠪᠣᠳᠣᠭ᠃ ᠡᠨᠡ ᠪᠣᠯ ᠭᠠᠵᠠᠷ᠂ ᠠᠮᠢᠳᠤᠷᠠᠯ ᠪᠣᠯᠤᠨ ᠲᠡᠩᠭᠡᠷ ᠢ᠋ᠨ ᠬᠣᠣᠷᠣᠨᠳᠣᠬᠢ ᠡᠷᠲᠡᠨ ᠦ᠋ ᠬᠠᠷᠢᠯᠴᠠᠭᠠᠨ ᠠᠴᠠ ᠦᠨᠳᠦᠰᠦᠲᠡᠢ ᠰᠢᠨᠡ᠂ ᠮᠠᠭᠠᠳᠦᠭᠦᠢ ᠡᠷᠰ ᠰᠢᠨᠡᠴᠢᠯᠡᠭᠳᠡᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠬᠥᠭᠵᠢᠯ ᠶᠤᠮ᠃ ᠴᠠᠮᠬᠠᠭ ᠨᠢ ᠥᠩᠭᠡᠷᠡᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠦᠶᠡ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠲᠣᠭᠲᠠᠭᠰᠠᠨ ᠳᠦᠷ ᠲᠥᠷᠬᠦ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠬᠥᠰᠢᠶᠡ ᠳᠤᠷᠰᠠᠭᠠᠯ ᠪᠢᠰ᠂ ᠬᠠᠷᠢᠨ ᠲᠡᠷᠡᠬᠦ ᠦᠷᠭᠦᠯᠵᠢᠯᠡᠭᠰᠡᠨ ᠬᠠᠷᠢᠯᠴᠠᠭᠠ ᠪᠣᠯᠤᠨ ᠲᠦᠦᠨ ᠦ᠋ ᠢᠷᠡᠡᠳᠦᠢ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠠᠮᠯᠠᠯᠲᠠ ᠶ᠋ᠢᠨ ᠢᠯᠡᠷᠬᠡᠢᠯᠡᠯ ᠪᠣᠯᠵᠤ ᠪᠠᠢᠨᠠ᠃ |
